Folk Boot Camp Lectures - $20 each

On Wednesday evening, July 22, come crawl inside the brains of renowned dub poet Mutabaruka and the Mekons’ Jon Langford and Sally Timms at two special lectures. Mutabaruka delves into his country’s history, politics and all things reggae and dub at 6:00 pm with his Jamaica is a Word event. Jon and Sally give you a glimpse into their 30-year history creating art and music in My Life in the Punk Rock Trenches at 8:00 pm. Both lectures are at Cantos, 134-11th Avenue SE and are $20 each.
